Anxiety: Specific to people who move their legs on a daily basis, it can be related to anxiety disorders, causing a feeling of agony in the legs and a need to move the leg all the time, often out of habit.
-
Nervous tic: Involuntary movement (myofasciculations) and, therefore, a neurological escape that occurs at the junction of the muscle fiber with the neuron. It is also usually associated with stress, anxiety and can also be associated with seizures and other illnesses.
-
The nocturnal myoclonus syndrome or restless legs syndrome: it is the urgency to move the legs at the end of the day, at rest, during the transition from the waking state to sleep, which can cause brief or even prolonged awakenings, in addition to causing the person wakes up with the feeling of falling.
