Torticollis

Torticollis is an involuntary tension in the neck muscles, causing discomfort and stiffness in the region, causing it to tip to the right or left side. Common causes:

  • Poor posture during sleep;

  • Muscle tension;

  • Sudden movement of the head;

  • Inadequate positioning.

It is a problem that requires medical verification, to rule out problems such as neck and spine injury. If there is no well-defined cause, the doctor will be able to investigate the possibility of thyroid problems and even a neck tumor.

Once the inflammatory problem is verified, reflexology becomes an efficient complementary treatment to reduce discomfort without the need for medication.

The common reflex areas to be worked on will be:

  • Hypothalamus ;

  • Pineal ;

  • Pituitary gland ;

  • Cerebellum ;

  • Spine with emphasis on the cervical reflex area;

  • Circulatory;

  • Upper lymph node;

  • Tension point;

  • Solar Plexus .

  • Neck;

  • Shoulders;

  • Shoulder muscles;

  • Adrenal . Emphasis on the external cortex.

  • Head;

  • Hallux therapy. Improves SN acceptance in relation to therapy;

Health is Consciousness

Support

Being healthy is a matter of conscience . The disease is above all an imbalance, and when we meet and harmonize physically, emotionally and mentally, we are creating a protective barrier. This balance translates into physiological homeostasis with our immune system restored.
